One week after buying my case, the belt holster broke-- when I submitted claim to otter, they told me that they just discontinued my case and there was nothing they could do! Out $60 on a fraud!

Would not even send me a gift card for re-imbursement. So, a fellow co-worker comes to work the following week with a new phone just same as my phone-- and a new otterbox case.

When I asked him where he had got the case, he told me he ordered it straight from otter, because he had a friend that worked there and gave him a discount!!! I will be taking otterbox to small claims court for not honoring warranty and fraud

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $60.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Otterbox Cons: Being lied to.

I bought an Otterbox Defender for my Samsung Note 2. It came with a lifetime warranty.

They have since changed their policy to a one year warranty on the newer cases. This case protected my phone flawlessly from many falls and drops. I phoned Otterbox to claim the warranty as the case failed and was not working properly. I was told they no longer have stock of that case therefore I am out of luck.

The woman on the phone almost laughed at me for believing the lifetime warranty advertising.

Was a originally a good product but I don't know the quality now as I will never purchase another Otterbox for anything.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I am now a self employed Otterbox social media revenge soldier. I will tell everyone and anyone to buy anything else but not an Otterbox.
